i noticed that as people progress through highschool, they are less likely to use a bookbag as the years go on (because it is cooler to carry your books than to wear a big dopey backpack)... however, in college it is the opposite.. as the college years progress, people are more likely to wear a backpack because it is easier for those long distance walks to classes, and because some people commute from their apartments and need to something to carry all of their books for the day.. no real conclusion can be made from this observation really..
on another note, we had the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history done today.. more than 30 students in a college murdered in classrooms and dorms.. what is it about our country that leads to all of this? i saw the movie bowling for columbine a long long time ago, but what i remember from it is that other developed countries have virtually little to no gun violence compared to the U.S... is it because of racial tension? maybe all of these different races and religions really can't live together?.. is it because of the media always feeding us negative news?.. i am truly curious as to why our country has so much violence while other developed countries do not. look up the numbers yourself.
